In One Word Substitution, we substitute a lengthy
sentence or phrase with one word. For example, A person appointed by two
parties to solve a dispute – is known as an Arbitrator. The substitution of one
word makes a sentence more lucid.
One-word substitutions are asked in English Comprehension tests of various
competitive exams such as banking, insurance, SSC, railways, MBA, board exams.
etc. You need to substitute the word with an appropriate option.
